There are many email address mining programs running in cyber space that scan web sites looking for the sequence of a user name and domain name separated by the keyboard "at" symbol. These mining programs save these addresses into files which are later used for so-called spam advertising. In order to perhaps limit the volume of unwanted email that I receive, I am providing my email address displayed in blue embedded in a picture of Route 66 near Barstow below.
